I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with ten years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I earned my M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida in 2007.  I am also qualified to supervise registered mental health counseling interns.

I have experience working in a variety of mental health settings including: private practice, school-based and in-home. I have worked with clients on issues such as: anxiety, grief/loss, self-esteem, bullying, peer pressure, behavior issues, depression, parenting, divorce, stress management, and anger management. I utilize a variety of approaches including strengths based, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral.

As a therapist, I strive to create a safe and trusting environment for my clients so they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings and life stories.  I enjoy helping clients make positive changes in their lives so they can move toward their futures with hope.  My goal is to help my clients discover their personal strengths that will help them overcome obstacles and learn new tools they can utilize throughout their lives.
