Hope. I hear that so much when people start therapy. Is there hope? Will things get better? Will my child, my family, myself feel hope and positive change? My answer is there will always be hope. Hope brought you to this website. Hope motivates us, changes our course and with a therapeutic alliance gives us self awareness of our strengths and resilience .You have strengths you may not be aware of and that is the primary goal of therapy in my opinion. My  goal is to help you see those strengths and find solutions to cope with the difficulties of life. Of course a good dose of therapy tools which I will teach you never hurts.

My name is Tara McNamara. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. I received my degree from U.N.F. In Jacksonville, Fl. My scope of therapy has been vast. I have worked with children, teens, adults and seniors. I have worked with clients experiencing a variety of disorders from depression, anxiety, ptsd, bipolar, and personality disorders to name a few. .I have learned that there is no one theoretical form of therapy to help all clients.  I feel the most important component in therapy is developing trust and rapport with the client, coming from their reality, circumstances and goals.
